Our Core Promise
StackWorth is built on a simple principle: your financial data belongs to you. We store your portfolio data securely in our cloud database, accessible only to you. We never sell, share, or monetize your data.
Data Storage
Your asset data is stored securely in our cloud database, protected by encryption in transit and at rest. Only you can access your portfolio through your authenticated account.
- Secure cloud storage: Your data is stored in our database, accessible only through your authenticated session.
- Account required: A free account (just an email) is needed to use StackWorth, ensuring your data is tied to you and only you.
- UI preferences: Theme and currency display preferences are stored locally in your browser for convenience.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service:
- Account data: Your email address for authentication and optional notifications.
- Portfolio data: The assets you add to your portfolio (types, quantities, purchase prices, etc.) — stored securely and never shared.
- Spot price requests: We fetch live precious metal prices from third-party APIs. These requests do not include any of your portfolio data.
What We Don't Do
- We don't use analytics or tracking scripts.
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't use cookies for advertising.
- We don't require bank connections or financial logins.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual assets from your dashboard at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us and we'll remove everything within 48 hours.
